Travel
The girls Travel level classifications are 10U, 12U and 15U. Age groups are divided by birthdate (June1st - May 31st).
Teams within each level are determined through a tryout process to place kids on teams with players of similar skill and experience. League games are played in the west metro area and the season includes out of town travel to weekend tournaments.
MN HOCKEY PLAYER PARTICIPATION POLICY
A player can play where they live OR with the association of their school enrollment. For school enrollment based registration, parents MUST request a waiver from their home residence association BEFORE registering with the school enrollment based association. Please contact your home association Registrar for more information regarding the MN Hockey participation rules.
Registration Process
All Hopkins Park and Nordic Storm players are required to register first with their home association (home association is determined by the school district of residence).
Before completing the Hopkins Park registration, please review the jersey size chart and know what size your player(s) need for the upcoming season.
IMPORTANT: First year HP travel players, will need to select their jersey number as the last step of the registration process (right after payment is complete). Do not close your browser tab before completing this step
10U Season Expectations
The season starts at the beginning of October. 10U will practice 4-6 times a week depending on level.
District 3 league games start mid-November. Each team will participate in 3-4 travel tournaments during the season. The end of the season District 3 tournament is in early March.
12U Season Expectations
The season starts at the beginning of October. 12U will practice 5-6 times a week depending on level.
District 3 league games start at the beginning of November. Each team will participate in 3-4 travel tournaments during the season. The end of the season District 3 tournament will start mid-February
15U Season Expectations
The season starts at the beginning of October. 15U will practice 6-7 times a week depending on level.
District 3 league games start at the beginning of November. Each team will participate in 3-4 travel tournaments during the season. The end of the season District 3 tournament will start mid-February.

10U & 12U 2026 - 2027
10U & 12U Nordics and 15U Nordic Storm players need to register through their home association first. A link to complete the Nordics or Nordic Storm registration will be provided once the home association registration is complete.
During the HP registration process, 10U & 12U registrants will need to select their player's jersey size. Please view the SIZE CHART on the program page before starting the registration process.
